Counting Crows Los Angeles Concert reviews
5 Decades of ZZ Top / 1st visit to Volvo Car Stadium
Alright... I'm thought that I would be the old foagie in the crowd, 61 years old. It was a mix of all ages, many older than me and quite a few younger. In addition to Counting Crows doing every song they every made famous, there was Cheap Trick doing several songs I knew by heart along with many more I had never heard -- but that's not their fault. If they stay together long enough, Frankie & The Witch Fingers will make it -- but not under that name. Their brand of music took me back to Tickle Me Pink or The Offspring. The only drawback to the evening is at my age, prolonged standing is not an option and unless you have front-row seats on the floor, you will miss a lot. Volvo Car Stadium did not seem too ADA friendly -- compliant, maybe, but nothing near what other venues have to offer. It would have been better to take lower seating on the sides and be up off the floor.
